How do I get a price for a terminal?
Add the models you want to your quote cart and send the request with your contact details, or call +373 79 170 490. We will get back to you with availability, lead time and a quote. The price is set individually, depending on the configuration.
Which brands do you offer?
Zebra (the main brand), Honeywell and Datalogic mobile computers and industrial tablets. We help you choose the model that fits your task, whatever the brand.
Why are prices not shown on the site?
The same model ships in different configurations: scanner variants, connectivity, batteries, cradles, accessories. That is why we prepare the quote for the exact configuration. We confirm the final price in the quote.
Are you an official distributor?
AutoID Moldova (S.R.L. «POS CONSULTING») represents Zebra and other brands of mobile computers in the Moldovan market and offers the equipment, setup and support. We confirm the commercial status for each brand on request.
Which terminal should I choose for a warehouse?
It depends on the process: for intensive picking, keypad or pistol-grip models fit; for inventory and receiving, smartphone-style ones. For tall racking, choose an extended-range scanner. Details are in the data-collection terminals guide and on the Warehouse page.
What is the difference between a terminal and a smartphone?
A terminal has a hardware scanner, a rugged housing, a battery for a full shift and management tools. A smartphone scans with its camera and is less durable. The article Mobile computer or smartphone compares the two options.
Can I keep using my old Windows CE/Mobile applications?
Often yes: through terminal emulation or by rebuilding the interface as a web application. It depends on the application. Details in the article from Windows CE to Android.
Do you also have a warehouse management solution?
Yes, for warehouses we recommend our WMS system, presented on wms.md. It ties together scanning, storage locations and orders, and the mobile computers are the operator's interface.
Do you deliver across Moldova?
Yes, we deliver across Moldova. Models in stock are shipped the next business day; equipment supplied to order is delivered within one week of payment. Delivery is free in all cases (Chișinău and across Moldova). Pickup from our office in Chișinău is also possible, by prior appointment.
What warranty do the terminals have?
The equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The warranty period is 12 months. Service is carried out through AutoID.
Do you configure the terminals before delivery?
Yes, on request: update, Wi-Fi, scanning profile, applications, fleet management. The terminals arrive ready to work. Details on the Service page.
Do you help with integration into our system?
Yes. Integration with WMS, ERP or POS is discussed per project and carried out through AutoID. Describe the system you use, and we will suggest the right option.
