Warehouse
A warehouse is the most demanding environment for a terminal: long shifts, work with gloves, tall racking, sometimes cold rooms. The terminal has to scan fast, survive drops and last a full shift on one battery.

Which processes it covers
- Receiving goods and checking them against the order or delivery note
- Putaway to storage locations (bin addresses) and replenishment
- Order picking and verification before shipping
- Inventory and revaluation, including cycle counting
- Moves between zones and transfers between warehouses
- Shipping and loading onto vehicles
What matters when choosing
Scanning distance. If the goods are at hand level, a standard scanner is enough. For tall racking or pallets far away, extended-range scan engines (ER/XR) are useful: see the article on long-range scanning.
Device shape. A pistol-grip terminal (for Zebra, for example, the MC3400/MC3450 in the gun version and the MC9400/MC9450) is more comfortable for continuous scanning. A smartphone-style one (TC22, TC53e, CT37, Memor 11/12) is lighter and better for mixed tasks.
Keypad. For frequent entry of quantities or codes, models with a physical numeric or alphanumeric keypad are useful: Zebra MC3400, Honeywell CK62, CN80, Datalogic Skorpio X5, Memor K20.
Cold and harsh conditions. For cold rooms and loading docks, choose models with IP65/IP68 protection and a declared drop rating onto concrete, plus batteries that perform at low temperatures. One example from the Zebra range is the WT6400, a hand-worn computer designed for the cold as well.
Wi-Fi. In a large warehouse, stable roaming between access points matters. Modern models support Wi-Fi 6E; see Wi-Fi 6E and 5G in the warehouse.

The list is indicative. We confirm availability and exact configurations in the quote. All models are in the catalog or on the brand pages: Zebra, Honeywell, Datalogic.
The terminal is only half of the solution
A terminal without a management system scans, but does not tell the operator where to put or where to take the goods from. A warehouse needs a WMS that ties together scanning, storage locations, orders and stock.
Our warehouse solution is presented on wms.md: storage location management, receiving, picking, inventory and work with mobile computers.
If your project includes both terminals and a WMS, we can discuss both parts at once: request a consultation.
